Boondocks Cafe in Wadena

Very friend wait staff. I've eaten breakfast there many times, and the food has always been cooked to my requested order. More specifically, the eggs. I order eggs over-easy, and thats what i get. Not runny, or overcooked ever. Pefect yokes everytime. Its clean and well managed. Wait staff is attentive without being annoying or over bearing. I never felt i was rushed to vacate quickly when done eating even when they're very busy.

Great lunch! The specials were plentiful (6) and all priced $8 and DOWN! Eight at our table and everyone commented on the huge portions and wonderful taste. Best lunch we have had in a year! Try it.

We ate here for the second year in a row on our way home from we fest. They have absolutely the best food, just like a home cooked meal. Customer service is a 10 plus staff is super friendly. Great job guys. See you next year!

The food is pretty good, the serve staff are nice, but the prices are a bit high for the smaller portions you get

Excellent small town diner. Allow extra time if you want hash browns, though, as they shred the potatoes fresh for your order.

Excellent Food! Excellent Service! Awesome small town ambiance and welcoming charm! The waitress was phenomenal and very inviting! The breakfast was out of this world and I would highly recommend ordering a caramel cinnamon bun! It was the best!

Ok food, they put waaaaaay to much mayo on my club. I wasn't overly impressed, but I couldn't complain either. Hence it was ok.

Very slow service for average kinda food. Wasn’t anything great, but took almost 45 mins to get our order.

Waitresses are so personable and awesome. Food is also delicious. We go here for breakfast once a year to finish off our family vacation on a high note.

Another perfect breakfast. Never a disappointment when you get your meal.

Food was hot when it came.. about 40 minutes after ordering. Doesn't make sense because fries take about less than 5 minutes to cook in the fryer, and burgers take about 8-10 minutes to cook. But if you're looking for a cheaper place to eat, it is good.

It was soooooo nummy. Jessica and Kenzie are rockstars. The Big Jake was a fabulous bacon cheese burger

Delicious! Homemade mashed potatoes. Daryl said the chicken was like his Mom's. (That's a huge compliment.) And they had 10 different pies!! We love trying local eating places when we are traveling.

Large breakfasts (and sooo tasty!). Great selection on their menu for breakfasts and lunches/dinners. Friendly people, friendly hometown atmosphere.

Started off with slow service, no one to greet/seat...or at the very least let you know to seat yourself. Didn't acknowledge us for quite some time. Maybe better if you're a local. Had hamburgers, food was good. Nothing particularly special about it though.

Our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter are on their way to Korea. Needed to get their fix of Boondocks breakfast! 😊
